Adventure #6

"So, apparently this temple now gains tons of energy every time we put a gemstone in its place. And... This thing popped up randomly, just like Cornelius's portal." Ronan said, pointing to an artist palette carving on the wall. It had two Peck statues standing next to it.


"Anyways, so-" he was interrupted by an odd arctic wolf.



"Help! I knew you guys were collecting gems- and- there was phantoms- ANDD.." she said, pacing back and forth. Suddenly, she collapsed.

"Oh dear. We'd better help her." Ronan murmured.

After nursing her back to health, she rested for a while. And then finally, she woke up.

 "Huh? Where, what...? Oh yeah. Thanks for helping me guys. Anyways, my name is Sandstorm. I am a Kimbara Warrior. But the real thing I wanted to tell you was that the phantoms took my gemstone. I was just sitting behind the waterfall, and a fleet of phantoms attacked me. All this time I've been thinking about giving my gemstone to you but... They took it! The phantoms really took it!" She said.

Ronan was gaping. "Wow. Well, I guess we'll retrieve it then." He turned to look at you. "Where do you suggest the phantoms took the gemstone?"

    "The phantoms are probably guarding it somewhere they wouldn't expect us to look. I'm not sure where, though." I hovered above the ground, thinking of all the places it could be at.

    I immediately thought about the Hive but I knew it would be too obvious. Instead, I volunteered the Temple of Zios as that was one of Jamaa's sacred places. I knew the phantoms would want to wreck that place

    "Ronan, the Phantom Tower might work." Wish suggested. The Hive was feared by bunnies, so off they went to the Phantom Tower.

      "I hope that the phantoms aren't as active as the last time I went into this place. It gives me the shivers!" Ronan said, looking around the tower.

      Wish had two phantom costumes and phantom hats from last Halloween. "Let's use these. Oh and, take this. It is dirt from the Sarepia Forest and some electric wires. These will be useful." replied Wish, putting on the phantom costume and hat and putting her gear in a pocket.

    "Maybe if we quickly go back to where it was stolen, we could catch up to the phantoms!" I said, spreading my wings.

      "Good idea, but I don't think it's possible. Lately the phantoms have increased their intelligence, so they know how to mask their scent and cover any signs that they were there. If anything, we'll just have to guess where they are now. How much land do you think they've covered by now?" Ronan said.

      I followed Ronan through the forest. We finally stopped at a large opening in a hill. "So, this is the Hive." Ronan said breathless. I bared my fangs, thinking about what dangerous stuff we could encounter in there. We sneaked inside. "Ok, stick to the walls." I whispered. We encountered absolutely no phantoms at all. "Weird.. There are no phantoms." Ronan muttered. "Well at least, hopefully we will never see any." I hissed. We went deeper and deeper. We had to cut through phantom vines and goop. Finally, we came to a room with a large throne with the king phantom on top. Hundreds of smaller phantoms surrounded him. I gasped."He has the stone!" I whispered loudly. "How are we supposed to get it now?" Said Ronan hopelessly.

      "Summon your Winged-Lupus!" he cried. Ronan whistled a tune and faced his hand skyward. His Winged-Lupuses all came at once, willing to die in battle for their companion.

      I summon my Winged-Lupuses. I order them to distract all of the phantoms. They zoom around the room ramming into phantoms. ''Lets go, follow me!'' I called to Ronan. We ran through the crowd and I grabbed the gemstone. Me and Ronan whistled for out Winged-Lupuses and we ran out of the Hive as fast as we could. Me, Ronan, and the Winged-Lupuses made it out! ''We got the gemstone!!'' I cheered.

    "Where were the phantoms when they took the birthstone?" Myst suggested. "The Phantoms could have taken it anywhere. The phantom fortress, the phantom tower, the volcano, or even the Hive! How could we get it?!"

      "Well, the phantoms aren't always smart, so they've probably taken it somewhere obvious. Maybe the phantom portal?" Ronan suggested.

      Whisper grabbed some boomseeds, she turned to Ronan and handed him some. Lets go to the phantom tower and see if they hid it there

    Rainbow gulped.

    "I don't want to go in there...
    Is it a must?"


    Then, Rainbow thought of something. "The Phantoms won't be that dumb, right? We have forces, they'd EXPECT us to be in the hive!

    "Wait. Or are they that dumb?"
