Nightshade Abyss

Welcome to the Nightshade Abyss. It is where all Halloween spirits are trapped. The only day they are let out of their "prison of shadows" is the night of Halloween.
On that one night, some choose to go around scaring people and playing pranks. Others, however, go around trick-or-treating, claiming that their scary appearances are just costumes. The trick-or-treating spirits carry around candy bags that are really portals to the abyss. So this way, all candy collected will go to a stash that everybody feasts on all year 'round.

Sadly, once the night reaches exactly 1:00 AM, all creatures are magically sent back to the Nightshade Abyss to spend the rest of the year doing stuff.

The place is ruled by a skeletal snow leopard named Commander Tempest.

PLACES

This is the clearing, where a lot of chatting and hanging out occurs. It's the center of all the commotion, where information is easily spread from peer to peer.

This is the Graveyard of the Innocent. A lot of us just call it the graveyard. If an innocent soul (that isn't a Halloween spirit) somehow finds out about the Nightshade Abyss, we are forced to put them to rest so nobody else hears about this place. We bury all of them here.

This is the Sphynx's Lair. This entire area belongs to a Sphynx that lives in the cave you see here. She constantly demands sacrifices of body parts, such as tails (specifically Tempest's tail), legs, or faces. Even though Commander Tempest is the real ruler, the Sphynx is definitely feared twice more than him.

These are the pet stables, where our little companions are cared for. They are as cute and sweet as can be! On Halloween night, we take them for walks out in the world of Jamaa.

 This is the nightmarish nook of a library we have. Our books consist of many things, also including rule books for games. Most of the week we're only in here to read books. On other nights, we play card games. Betting is strictly forbidden.
