Creature Guide

"You carry around a dusty book with you on every adventure, each page telling you about a creature. You use it to identify all the strange beings you may meet on an adventure."

SOUL SWALLOWER
A creature originally from another time period. Most of them remained buried underground, hoping to make a sudden return one day, but some occasionally go above ground. WARNING: These creatures do pose a threat. Only one or two strikes of their venomous tail could kill.

ICE DRAGON
Ferocious creatures that tend to stay near the mountains and tundra. Even though they appear to be made out of ice, they only cover themselves in a layer of ice to protect themselves. They will do anything to protect their eggs and/or young.

ALARNI
Alarni are sought after for their horns, which are in fact, edible. They are softer than normal deer antlers, and are actually very healthy for you. A little known fact is that female Alarni actually have larger antlers than males.

KOI-DRAGON SNAKE
A creature that is crossed with a Koi, Dragon, and Snake. They are very rare, and only take a liking to those who deserve their company. They tend to live on land, but can live in water (usually small ponds) just fine.

FOUR-WINGED PHOENIX
A creature that appears as a normal Phoenix, but has 4 wings. They tend not to be aggressive, but would not be something to make eye contact with.

COLORSPLASH GAZELLE
A type of gazelle that is dark brown and splotched with yellow. Just like a normal gazelle, they are quite skittish and will run from anything that may be a predator.

DRACO VENOMOSIS MONSTROSEQUUS
A large creature that dwells in lakes and ponds. Each spine is very poisonous, and every part of their body is brightly colored. They are rare and tend to be 6 ft. high and 12 ft. In length. They are extremely aggressive and will try to kill you.

CRESTED ICE DOG
A small kind of feral dog that will try to hunt down larger prey in packs. They coat their claws in ice to inflict more damage on a foe. If a Crested Ice Dog's crest is sticking straight up and they are making direct eye contact with you, this means that they may leap at you at any moment. The species was first spotted by starpilot2000.

BIRDOMI
Birdomi are very friendly, but can get aggressive if necessary. They have tiny eyes because they have no use for them for the most part because they live in the bottom of the ocean. They use their wings for swift evacuation out of the bottom of the ocean if needed. They are extremely fast swimmers and are related to dolphins, fish, and even birds. This species was first spotted by Pink200330.

WANDERTRAPPION
Wandertrappions were named after the way they trapped wandering animals. Over time they have evolved to eat more bugs instead of jammers. It had all happened when a scientist took in two Wandertrappions of the opposite gender when they were young and fed them bugs. Despite having the teeth suited for a carnivore diet, the Wandertrappions happily ate the insects. When the two grew older, they were bred by the scientist and had young together. The babies took after their parents and ate the bugs fed to them. After years of the scientist taking in wild Wandertrappions and releasing them into the wild, they all eventually started eating bugs. They even developed their own instinct of how to attract bugs. They now cover themselves in honey and flowers. Every time a bee or butterfly comes by, they viciously maul it.
Their eyes are very small, due to their lack of need for them. They have excellent hearing and could probably know the pinpoint location of a buzzing fly 50 feet away.

MOOYIPPA
Mooyippas look like snow leopards, but are more closely related to lizards and deer. They can live pretty much anywhere- except in extremely warm or cold areas. They aren't dangerous, and most are actually friendly. The only time one will attack you is if it finds you a threat. The reason it has leaves on its antlers is because it's strangely part tree. This creature was first sighted by Pink200330.

FROSTARLA
Frostarlai (the plural of frostarla) are very shy and majestic horses that are accustomed to living in very cold places like Mt. Shiveer. They do not reproduce, but instead, build a horse out of snow and give it life with their powers. While they are not made of snow, their pure white coat helps them hide in their surroundings very well. Frostarlai live in tribes of 5-20 and are thought to be almost as intelligent as Mira, due to an old legend that claims them to be blessings from the guardian spirit Mira herself.

SHAPE SHIFT
Shape Shifts are a type of creature that changes its form every time it does a good deed. All forms are randomly achieved, but the eagle is the highest ranking form. Once a Shape Shift becomes an eagle, it can no longer change animals. Although these creatures always change their figure constantly, the most commonly seen is a fox.

CHARMARRIS
These elusive creatures used to roam Jamaa when the jammers were fewer. Like tyrants, they simply "got rid of" anything in their way and controlled everything in their environment. If they didn't like the food in the area they were in, they would rip all of it apart and force the other animals in the area to eat other things. When the Jamaasian Revolution occurred, where the jammers really started a big nation and built dens all over, the Charmarrii (plural of Charmarris) were forced to move.

Charmarrii are very powerful creatures with excellent hearing, a bulky build, sharp teeth, and long claws. Legend has it that if you lock both a Draco Venomosis Monstrosequus and a Charmarris in a room together, both will avoid each other the entire time. This is because they are both equally matched in strength and intelligence, and they both fear each other greatly.

    1. You might be able to take the picture and post it on a site and give me the link, or show me on animal jam. Otherwise, I don't want to give out my email.

      Will-o-the-wisps
Will-o-the-wisps are shadowy figures that mainly live in boggy areas, but can live elsewhere (that is dark). They often lead jammers to dangerous places and leave them there. Good will-o-the-wisps have blue, green, purple, or white lights. In light, bad will-o-the-wisps explode into black dust. Good will-o-the-wisps will turn invisible in contact with light. (First discovered by me). The most common forms are foxes and wolves.

(They carry firefly jars around their necks. Eyes: black (x's are fine)

    Plated Temple Golems
Plated Temple Golems stone-plated animals. They are covered in stone and vegetation such as vines. They can be any animals, but pandas and rhinos are most common. They sleep amongst the stones in the jungle floors near the lost temple of Zios. Because of their rough, stoney skin covered in vegetation, they blend in with the other temple stones and are rarely noticed. They are peaceful, unless you don't watch where you're going and accidentally step on one. You will anger them and they will then do whatever it takes to chase you off. Be aware that once one is threatened, any other plated temple golems in the area will also turn on you and start chasing you.

  7. Mira is not a GUARDIAN SPIRIT. She is the Sky Mother of Jamaa, as Zios is the Sky Father.

    1. In the AJ official guide, it mentions them as guardian spirits. I think both sky mother and guardian spirit sound cool.

  9. I have an idea for a picture. When you get on, I'll show you what it looks like:

(I'm not good at making up names, you make one)

These massive creatures can grow 7 ft tall- 9 ft tall and 5 ft in length. Slim, jagged scales line it's back that are almost like shark fins. Their underbelly is a glowing reddish-orange. This is because their stomach acid is lava-like, because they have a very hard time disgusting prey. Mane-like sparks shoot out of the back of it's neck, and through it's tail too (Although on the tail it looks more like fur). They have huge webbed feet with very long reddish claws that can grow up to 1 ft in length. Despite being very large, they mainly prey on small insects and even fairies. They don't really tend to move though, but they are known to be very quick. They live in marshes and swamps with high trees and it's almost like a rain forest. (I based this off an image I found on Google. Look at it here: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&docid=PqoknGT7en4FsM&tbnid=P_UMo_iXSb6DfM:&ved=0CAUQjRw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwallpapersus.com%2Fmonstrous-creature%2F&ei=T5_2U8iJB8T1yASd9oHABA&bvm=bv.73373277,d.aWw&psig=AFQjCNEmoTN6N6p6iuC45_s8YmNedqsh9g&ust=1408757920441344 Big link XD)
