Head Roleplayer Tryout
Hey guys, so, I have come to a dreadful truth that I am busy with both life and my other blog(s). So, I need somebody to roleplay as Ronan for a while. This will just be a privilege for you to reply to roleplay comments.
I am NOT quitting this blog. I just need somebody to be Ronan until I create the next adventure post. While you guys are being bored outta your minds, please go over to the side roleplay page.
To enter the tryout, just comment with this:
Active? (Yes or no)
Willing to do this task another time I become inactive? (Yes or no)
Willing to accept a rare as a thank you for doing this? (Yes or no + Preferred member or nonmember item if yes is selected)
Have read and understand the instructions page? (Yes or no)
Buddy of mine on animal jam? (Yes or no)
Roleplay sample: The phantom wandered closer and closer to (character name) until it blasted an odd fume at her. She started to feel sleepy but kept awake (barely) and tried swatting her arms at the phantom. (Comment how you would reply to this comment, in Ronan's eyes)
Ok, that's basically it. If you are chosen to fill in for the official Ronan, you may not reward phantoms blessings. And remember- this is NOT an author/administrator contest.
P.S. Some of those questions up there you of course don't have to answer "Yes" to. I'm just testing you c:

Adventure #8
(Guys, I don't have a birthstone for this one yet, but. I know that you are all bored so. I'm gonna make another adventure yet. I did, however, obtain the ruby gemstone for the previous adventure. This will be sad, just warning some of you guys)
A small bee flew in front of your face, breaking your concentration from your day-dream. To your right, Ronan sat thinking. He was, a few minutes ago, called inside his house to have a conversation with his mother and father. It was probably something important to think about, so you didn't dare interrupt his wandering mind.
Finally, after a few minutes, Ronan stood up to make quite the unenthusiastic announcement.
"I'm bored." he said. "Want to come and show my mom the temple? She's probably been hoping to get outside... You know- after recovering and all. Plus, she- uh..." he paused for a moment and then sighed. "Eh, it's not worth telling you."
You shrugged at the thought of what secret Ronan was holding within him, so you just agreed.
Cynthia slowly walked out of her house, carrying a basket of some sort. Just as Ronan started to walk off, a voice sounded from behind, along with galloping hooves. "Ronan, wait!" she said.
"Or... was it Roman..?"
"No, you got it right the first time." Ronan replied. "I can't believe you came back! It's great to see you after all this time!" He turned to face you. "I forgot to say, this is my long lost friend Marissa.
You tilted your head to one side. You didn't want to feel rude asking, but you asked anyways. "What's the bandages on your head for?"
"Oh, they're to keep my head in shape. When I was younger, I seriously injured my head, resulting in growing memory loss. But it's not like I can't remember ANYTHING. Even people like me are still equal!"
You smiled at her and looked forward. "Want to travel with us to the temple?"
"Oh yes please!"
All of you walked to the long, forgotten temple once again. Cynthia seemed to be awestruck at looking at the place.
"I can't believe you brought back the temple!" she said. "It's amazing!"
But your thoughts were interrupted. A Draco Venomosis Monstrosequus stood out in the distance. Its eyes stared directly at Cynthia. It opened its mouth to speak, and speak it did. The voice that spilled out of the vile creature rattled the very bones in your ribcage. It spoke as though there were three voices making noises at once, and it gave off an eerie vibe. "Hello. But why should I greet you with a welcome? Maybe a farewell works better." It started to quicken its pace, approaching the group. "I bet you all say that you know fear, correct?"
The group nodded slowly, as if expecting the creature that was now circling them to strike at any moment.
"Yet, you don't know fear. But don't worry, I can help you with that. I can show you genuine horror."
Ronan drew his sword and shouted. "What kind of tricks are you playing on our minds?!"
"I'm not playing tricks on you." the beast chuckled. "Maybe it's YOUR mind that creates the illusions."
You backed away. What was he trying to tell you?
"And you, giraffe... Why do you have a bandage on your head?"
"Hey! It's because I injured my head! I may have memory loss, but at least I'm not evil! Besides, your voice sounds stupid!"
The Draco Venomosis Monstrosequus looked Marissa directly in the eye. "Do you think your petty little speech to meant anything to me? You have brain damage. You will never be an equal, because you are among the few Omegas in this world! A runt of the litter... What a shame."
Marissa started to well up with tears, but then whispered something. "I may be a runt of the litter in your opinion... But at least I have bravery."
She charged at the beast, but was quickly knocked to the ground with one powerful strike from its arm. Marissa lay unmoving on the grass.

Ok guys, this will probably be your most DANGEROUS battle yet! Use any abilities you have, but keep in mind that Cynthia cannot fight. Don't ask why because it will be revealed sometime soon. :>

Adventure #7
(Note: I don't have the new birthstone YET, but I had an urge to write this anyways. Also, there may be some kind of religious offense because we mention "spirits" in this. We mean no harm in this.)
You walk around, trying to fight the boredom. You're with all the other jammers who know Ronan. "What to do, what to do..." you mutter. Across the room you are sitting in, one of the eagles just flies around in hopeless circles. "What are we doing here anyway?" somebody asked. Nobody replied. You couldn't tell if they didn't know, or if they were in such a bad mood that they didn't want to answer.
And then suddenly, the center of the room burst into about 50 purple, liquid butterflies. They flew about halfway across the room, then shimmered into nothingness. But then Peck stood in the middle.
"Welcome!" she bellowed. "So, I know you guys have been waiting OH SO patiently. And, now I have a surprise! So, don't worry, this is only temporary, but Sir Gilbert has asked that I turn you all into Elemental Spirits! YOU get to choose your element. But first, here are some things to know about spirits:
.They cannot be seen by normal individuals.
.They cannot move objects.
.They can fly.
.They can give jammers courage, swiftness, or intelligence.
.They can control energy (such as electricity or even personal stamina). But physical electricity can only be controlled through a contained matter, such as through light bulbs.
That's really all you need to know. Sir Gilbert says that all this isn't for a mission or anything important, really, but he just wants to see what you learn. When you're ready to be turned into normal individuals again, flickers my light bulb on and off three times." she said, pointing to the light bulb overhead.
You all nodded, and she turned you all into elemental spirits (you get to choose your element).
"So, what should we do first?" you asked. They all thought for a moment, until somebody suggested that they watch Ronan. After all, he had stayed home today. After everybody agreed, you all flew there.
You could only watch.
--------------------------------------
Ronan heard his father playing solitare with himself. But that didn't matter. Ronan turned around and worked on his new invention again. He had no idea what he was even making, but he just thought it should prove useful sometime. But then he heard a knock on the door. "Don't bother," he thought to himself. "My dad will just answer the door." Yet, Ronan couldn't help but eavesdrop. He strained his ears to listen.
A slight "creeeak" indicated that the door had been opened.
"Hello." said a fox at the door. "We have news."
Ronan listened even more carefully.
"Graham... We have found your wife."
He looked up immediately. With a look of shock on his face, Ronan rushed over to the door. "Where is she?!" he asked in a loud, excited voice. Graham looked at Ronan, and silenced him with a finger to his lip.
"Where is she?" he asked in a quiet voice.
"She is in the hospital. Cynthia is recovering from a mental injury the phantoms gave her. She will live." the fox replied.
Sighing in relief, Ronan asked his father to go visit the hospital. With a quick nod, they both swiftly bolted out the door.
------------------------------
"Wow." you said. "I had no idea that Ronan's mother would be found. Should we follow him?"
The others only nodded. You followed him.
Cynthia was lying on a hospital bed. Large, horrifying black spikes clung to her, and looked almost as if they had impaled her. "What has happened to her?!" Graham yelled. The doctor only handed him a book. A page was open, labeled "Phantomonia (Alpha)."
"Oh dear." whispered Ronan. "No no no no no..."
Graham patted his son on the shoulder. "She'll be alright. Let's go now."
Suddenly, an announcement came on. The voice was surprisingly calm. "Attention, everybody, we have phantoms raiding the first floor of the hospital. They are slowly making their way to F2. Everybody please brace yourselves or evacuate."
Ronan looked at Graham. " Dad, we're on the third floor! We must fight the phantoms when they come. We can't let them hurt mom!"
It was a while before the phantoms actually reached the third floor. But when they came, Ronan displayed his genuine fury towards the disgusting beasts. He drew his sword and slashed the phantoms swiftly. The phantoms were too quick for Graham, though. They pinned him to the wall and injected a liquid into his arm. He fell to the floor.
"No!" Ronan cried.

Ok, since you are Elemental Spirits, you can technically only watch for the MOST PART. Yet you HAVE to help Ronan in some way. Reading the things that spirits can or cannot do that Peck listed, try to come up with a way to help Ronan or drive off the phantoms.
And another thing. Winged-Lupuses have special senses that allow them to see and hear Spiritual Bodies, just as if they were a normal being. So, you are able to summon your Winged-Lupus.
Also, when you complete your adventure, depending on what element you choose, you get a free ability!
----
Northern Wind- A blast of icy wind put in the air in an attempt to give frostbite to the target. WARNING: if you use this move, it will effect everybody in the area, including allies (but it will not effect yourself). This ability can be unlocked by choosing the Ice element on Adventure #7.
Blazing Flesh- A move that allows the user to coat themselves in a flame. This will allow the user to inflict more damage when using physical attacks. This ability can be unlocked by choosing the Fire element on Adventure #7.
River's Tranquility- A move that allows the user to focus their mind to a point where a phantom cannot corrupt them in any way possible. This ability can be unlocked by choosing the Water element on Adventure #7.
Airblast- A move that allows the user to blast a circle of strong winds around them. The air will very quickly progress across the environment and will disappear once it has reached about 30 feet away from the user. This ability can be unlocked by choosing the Wind element on Adventure #7.
Groundbreak- A move that allows the user to make the ground underneath the enemy rumble and shake violently. The hard ground will damage the target severely depending on how hard their skin is. This ability can be unlocked by choosing the Earth element on Adventure #7.
Paralyzing Shock- A move that allows the user to shoot a spark of electricity from their paws/wings/hooves/etc at one of the target's legs. If this move hits accurately, the target's limb will become paralyzed and unable to move. This ability can be unlocked by choosing the Lightning element on Adventure #7.
